Yes, activating the GPS is necessary when using the application. Please make sure to Turn on high accuracy mode on the phone's settings app.

A few Android manufacturers prefer battery life over proper functionality of your apps. Meaning, sometimes the Android system can force closing the app or limit the data usage in the background.

Yes, the app can be used offline and work only with the GPS without the internet for trail recording and navigation, in order to view the map on an offline map, you have to download the offline map of the area you plan to travel. downloading offline areas of the map is allowed for premium users. (Please read the Offline mode section for more details.)
You can join one of the 4 subscription plans in the app of 1 or 12 mounts of Premium or Pro subscription via the Settings/Account menus in the app.
If you currently have an active subscription, please cancel it first. Then, the subscription options will become available, allowing you to select a different plan. You can manage your Google Play active subscriptions via the following link: Google Play Subscriptions.
Please note that after canceling a subscription, it may take some time for the app to recognize the change. If you encounter any delays, clearing the app data can often help speed up the process. Instructions on how to clear app data can be found here.

GPS hardware in the phone is mandatory, in addition, the app uses the compass, steps, and barometric pressure sensors but they are not mandatory for basic usage.
If the orange dot under the compass on the main screen is turned on, you’ll need to calibrate your compass:

The altitude of your current location can be found at any time on the main screen of the application, the altitude will be automatically updated according to your location. You can also get the elevation graph of the route you have taken by clicking on the button to go from map to elevation graph. In order to get the location of another area, use the topographic map and look for the elevation lines closest to the desired point, on the elevation lines there is a number representing the height of the point. Please note, the altitude is calculated by the GPS but you can choose to use the phone's barometric sensor pressure instead via the app's settings.
On the main screen of the application you can find your activity data in real time, get information about your location on the map and switch to different menus in the application such as searching routes, sensors, weather, settings and more.

Click on the play button to start recodring a trail, the second click will pause the recording. once the record is started the timer will start running and autimatically pasue when you stop moving.

2. Select the activity type, name, description, choose if to share it, select an image and click save, you can watch your activity later under the history menu.

Upload your saved activity to the app's database to be shared with all users, by sharing your activities, you will have a backup in the cloud.
Export your activity in GPX format, you can export the original trail of a version with reduced points (keeps the most important points).
Delete the activity, please note, after deleting the activity you cannot restore it unless you uploaded it before.

1. Search for a trail you would like to download and click on the Save GPX button (Available only for premium and Pro subscription users).
The trail will be downloaded to your device, you can choose if the view the trail on the map or you can find it in the history menu now or later.

Choose a route planning type:
Search for a planning area within the interface or opt for the current location.
Select a starting point on the map.
Click on the map to add additional points. Each click creates a route segment between points.
Use navigation buttons to move back and forth in the setup.
You can view an elevation graph tailored to the planned route.
Click 'Save Planning' to save the route. The file will be stored in the history menu.
In the history menu, you can export the file to GPX format or you can use it for app naviagtion.
1. Click on the 3 dots in the main screen and select Import GPX file.
The file will be saved to the history (See the section History & files).
Click on the Layer icon.
Change the map type and the data layer according to your needs.
By selecting the data layer, the trails and points of interest will be shown accordingly on the main map.
You can click on the trails for wathcing or downloading them.

2. Click on the Share location button and share the invitation link with your friends, you always can copy the link from the same screen.
3. Click on the START LIVE LOCATION. You always can copy the link from the same screen.
4. Once your frined will join the link you will be able to see him on the map, marked with the red icon.
5. By clicking the details you will be able to see more details.
